McCann School of Business & Technology Hires Richard Horwitz as Campus Director
McCann School of Business & Technology has hired Rich Horwitz as Campus Director of McCann’s Allentown location. In this role, Horwitz will oversee all campus operations including supervision of the admissions, academic, financial services and career services departments.
“McCann already has a lot to offer students, but there is always room for growth,” said Horwitz. “I would like to reinforce a student-centric learning experience, which will give students individualized attention. This will allow students to learn at their own pace and fully grasp necessary practical skills to ensure their success after graduation.”
Prior to joining McCann, Horwitz served as the regional campus president and campus director at Daymar College Group in Kentucky. Horwitz has over a decade of experience in education, having served leadership roles at both the high school and college level including director of university partnerships, director of admissions training, director of admissions, director of financial aid and high school field registrar.
Horwitz served in the U.S. Navy for 23 years, before entering the education field. As a retired Navy Career Recruiter and Navy Counselor Chief, Horwitz plans to continue his military counseling expertise by helping veterans adjust to a college lifestyle and enroll at the McCann using their GI Bill.
Horwitz received a Bachelors of Science from Western Governors University in business administration and a Masters of Business Administration from Northcentral University in management. He currently resides in Bethlehem, PA.
