McCann School of Business & Technology Hosts Duck Derby Festival for Charity 

McCann School of Business & Technology - Wilkes-Barre, at 264 Highland Park Blvd, is hosting a Duck Derby Festival on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Guests can purchase $5 ducks in advance or at the event, which will be entered to win prizes of up to a $1500 value.   

“McCann welcomes the community to visit our campus in an effort to raise money for a great cause – the American Cancer Society,” said Sherry Castrine, Career Services Director at McCann. “Not only will the event raise money, but guests can enjoy music, food and the duck race while doing it.” 

During the event, ducks will be raced in a pond on McCann’s campus and winners will receive prizes including $1000 cash, a Sundance Vacation package ($1500-$1800 value), a car starter ($300) and four tickets to the RailRiders Commissioners Suite.

McCann representatives will also be available to answer questions about McCann programs, the admissions process and give guests a tour of the campus. 

The Duck Derby Festival is free and open to the public.
