McCann Students Pass CompTIA A+ Certification Exams

Pottsville, Pa. (July 12, 2016) – Three McCann School of Business & Technology students passed the CompTIA A+ certification examinations.

Kevin Marchetti (Pottsville, Pa), Michael Harakel (Tamaqua, Pa), George Peters (Pottsville, Pa) and Thomas Williams (St. Clair, Pa) enrolled in the Network Administration & Security program at McCann School of Business & Technology’s Pottsville Campus and successfully passed Part One and Part Two of the CompTIA A+ Examination to become A+ Certified.

CompTIA A+ establishes best practices in troubleshooting, networking and security across a variety of devices to enhance any IT career. As businesses continue to adopt mobile and cloud technology, A+ certified professionals are widely trusted to keep devices running and organizations working smoothly.

CompTIA A+ is compliant with ISO 17024 standards and is approved by the U.S. Department of Defense to meet directive 8570.01-M requirements.

McCann pays for the cost of the examinations, encouraging all students to take their certification exams. These examinations give students a competitive edge in the workforce since many employers either require or prefer candidates to be certified.
